Takes care of: Transport solutions for our customers

Lisa – A competitive spirit with a passion for logistics and padel.

Lisa Andersson has always had the drive that has taken her far — both at work and on the padel court. As part of our Transport Management team, she ensures smooth transport flows and maximizes delivery precision for our customers. When the workday is over, she swaps her work clothes for sports gear and chases her next title in padel, competing at both national and international levels.

But what makes transport management so exciting for someone with Lisa’s competitive mindset? And how does she manage to balance her career with elite sports?

From rookie to specialist – a passion for logistics

Lisa’s journey at Speed began in 2019 when the Transport Management team was still in its early stages. Back then, the team consisted of only three people who handled everything from control tower operations and invoicing to customer relations. Her biggest passion outside of work is padel, and when she was offered the opportunity to run a padel facility, she wanted to give it a try and work with her favorite hobby. When the sport faced some challenges, and she had the chance to return to Speed, she didn’t hesitate for a second:

“I absolutely loved working here and saw how Speed had grown while still maintaining its driving force and culture. Coming back was an easy choice.”

Today, Lisa monitors and optimizes transport flows for one of our major customers. Through real-time monitoring, she and her team can identify potential issues in the supply chain before they become critical. It’s all about analyzing data, staying ahead of potential problems, and quickly finding solutions when something deviates from the plan.

“Transport management isn’t just about moving goods from A to B—it’s about creating efficient and cost-effective flows. The best feedback is when the customer notices a difference and can trust that we’ve got everything under control.”

A competitive spirit – From tennis to padel and all the way to the World Championships

There’s no doubting that Lisa is a fierce competitor. Her sports career started with tennis, taking her to the National Sports Academy in Båstad and eventually to the U.S., where she played college tennis for five years. It was during this time that she learned how to balance sports with studies and, later, her professional career — something that benefits her greatly today.

“I’ve always had to be disciplined and efficient with my time, which I think is a huge advantage in the workplace.”

When she first tried padel, it was just for fun, but her competitive instinct quickly took over. Today, Lisa has represented Sweden in both the European and World Championships and continues to chase new titles. Up next: the Nordic Championships.

“It’s an amazing experience to compete at this level and to see the sport grow.”

Perhaps it’s that same competitive mindset that makes her excel at her job — a constant drive to improve, optimize, and stay one step ahead.

Three words to describe Speed?

When asked to describe Speed in three words, Lisa doesn’t hesitate: “Fast-paced, creative, and open-minded.”

“We have fun at work whilst working hard and making a real impact. It’s the perfect fit for me!”

And when you’re working at Speed, one question naturally arises — what’s the fastest thing she’s ever done?

“A lightning-fast trip to the U.S.! I flew across the Atlantic for a 48-hour official visit to a school — and then flew straight back home.”
