The participants will learn how to minimize the risk of accidents involving forklifts by creating documentation and instructions covering existing rules and regulations. The education will also improve the participants' understanding of forklift licenses, local forklift regulations, daily supervision of the forklifts, and incident reporting as an important part of safe forklift handling and, in turn, reduced expenses for the company.

The education objective is to preserve safe and efficient forklift handling, regardless of the participants' forklift license. A refresh education should be completed every three to five years, to ensure that the employee complies with existing TLP 10 rules and regulations. Upon completion of an approved refresher education, the participants' existing forklift license will be renewed.

Fall prevention educations

In 2014–2015, the Swedish Work Environment Agency began issuing sanctions upon companies violating the Swedish Work Environment Law. Speed can help you protect yourself and your employees exposed to heights through a half-day education in fall prevention. All fall prevention educations are completed in collaboration with approved supervisors and authorize you for roof work and other tasks exposed to heights.

Basic fall prevention education

The objective of this basic education is to instruct the participants in how to use a safety harness and personal Fall Protection Equipment, as well as how and when to use this equipment under AFS 2001:3.

Fall prevention: safe snow clearance

This fall prevention education teaches participants how to correctly remove snow from roofs, ensuring their safety and avoiding danger to third parties. The participants will also learn what tools to use when clearing snow and ice from roofs.

Fall prevention: roof and commercial buildings

This one-day education in fall prevention targets personnel exposed to the risk of injury caused by falls from roofs or other heights in commercial buildings and workshops. The objective of this education is to give the participants the knowledge necessary to successfully judge when and what fall protection measures should be used to comply with AFS 2001:3. They will also learn about different kinds of fall protection and anchoring, as well as existing laws and regulations.

Working in hot conditions

Swedish insurance companies require property owners who will perform or assign work in heat-exposed environments to complete an education about working in hot conditions.

Heat exposed labor includes welding, soldering, cutting, drying, heating, working with discs and other tasks that can produce heat or sparks.

Speed offers this one-day education together with an approved instructor. The education program is in compliance with the Swedish Fire Protection Association's guidelines and follows current regulations for working in hot conditions.

Overhead lift systems

The Swedish Work Environment Agency's AFS:2006:6 regulations, require appropriate education for all personnel handling overhead lift systems.

The education objective is to give the participants practical and theoretical knowledge of how to use the equipment safely (excerpt from paragraph 29 in AFS:2006:6). They will also learn the requirements of SS-ISO 9926-1.

Mobile work platform and lift education

This one-day education targets personnel required to safely handle a mobile work platform (category A) or a sky lift (category B), under the Swedish Work Environment Agency's regulations. The participants will learn about the current SS-ISO 18878:2004 regulations. The education objective is to make the participants able to work efficiently and eliminate risk of damage to personnel or inventory.
