Through a combination of large-scale initiatives and small changes, the company has taken major steps towards reducing its carbon footprint and contributing to a more sustainable future.
For Speed, sustainability has always been a priority, and the company's goal has been to become climate neutral by 2025. The company has been actively working to reduce its environmental impact for many years. A key part of that effort has been the installation of the Nordic region's largest solar cell plant on the roof of the head office in Borås. With an impressive maximum electricity production capacity of 4GWh, the plant has been a key factor in achieving climate neutrality. But it's not only large-scale projects that have contributed to reaching its goal. By implementing small changes in everyday life, such as weather-proofing cargo doors, replacing soap with greener alternatives, switching to digital delivery notes, reducing the use of shrink wrap, and more, Speed has managed to lower its CO2 emissions. Together, these small initiatives have had a significant impact and demonstrate the company's commitment to sustainability in all its forms.

Although the climate neutrality goal is now achieved, Speed's journey towards a more sustainable future does not end here. The company intends to install additional solar parks at its other facilities, invest in battery storage solution and charging infrastructure for future transportation to name a few. By continuing to invest in sustainable initiatives and implementing innovative solutions, the company aims to remain a leader in sustainability and make a difference.
