Speed and Bonnierförlagen sign strategic agreement.

Speed signs a new six-year agreement with Bonnierförlagen regarding logistics and ancillary services.The transaction is strategically important for Speed, which thereby consolidates its position as the country’s leading provider of warehousing and logistics services for printed books.

More than 20 million books are distributed annually from Speed’s unit in Stockholm, making Speed Sweden’s leading player in book distribution. The company already has a far-reaching collaboration with Bonnierförlagen, which was established in the 1960s. Bonnierförlagen now chooses to sign a new six-year agreement for logistics services from Speed.

“A customer relationship like the one we have with Bonnierförlagen is of course something very special and it is incredibly honoring that we get renewed confidence for the next six years as well. It is an important confirmation for us that we are competitive and offer high-class logistics solutions. Bonnierförlagen is the largest player in the market and together we can now continue to develop book logistics,” says Björn Tallén, head of Speed’s unit in Stockholm.

Speed takes care of the entire logistics chain for Bonnierförlagen – from receipts, warehousing to picking, packing and distribution. In addition, Speed also manages customer service function and accounts receivable management.
