SPEED SIGNS NEW MULTI-BILLION CONTRACT WITH ERICSSON.

AFTER A THOROUGH PROCUREMENT PROCESS, ERICSSON HAS CHOSEN TO RENEW ITS TRUST IN SPEED GROUP TO MANAGE AND DEVELOP THE COMPANY’S SUPPLY HUB IN BORÅS. THE NEW CONTRACT RUNS FOR EIGHT YEARS AND IS WORTH AT LEAST SEK 2.5 BILLION SEK.
The agreement includes logistics and production services and was won in tough competition with the industry’s largest players. The new contract is based on increased automation to future-proof Ericsson’s solution.
“Speed is our largest hub and also within the ones in the world that delivers the highest quality and delivery precision. This has been a decisive factor for us when we now choose to renew our cooperation with Speed,” says Alessandro Calzuola, Head of Supply Hub Europe at Ericsson.

The agreement comes into effect on July 1, 2025. The operations will continue to be conducted from Speed’s facility in Borås.
