PRESS RELEASE: In response to increased customer demand for flexibility in the logistics chain, Armatec has chosen to outsource its warehouse and transportation management to Speed Group. The new logistics solution will strengthen delivery precision, increase flexibility, and contribute to a more sustainable business.

Armatec, part of the Ernström Group, develops technical solutions in heating, cooling, and industrial processes and operates throughout the Nordic region. As customers' demand for flexibility in the logistics chain increases, the company has identified a need for external expertise in this area, which it has addressed by outsourcing its logistics to Speed.

- This is an important investment that allows us to focus even more on our customers and their needs, rather than the delivery process. With Speed, we get a partner with the cutting-edge expertise and experience that our logistics require, not least because our business often requires processing and special solutions. We get a flexible and scalable solution that frees up resources to deliver even more sustainable value to our customers, says Klas Blom, CEO of Armatec.

Through the collaboration, Armatec gains access to modern logistics solutions, expertise and capacity to handle larger and more complex projects. For customers, this means faster deliveries, higher delivery reliability, and reduced climate impact through optimised transport and more efficient warehouse flows.

- We are very pleased with the trust from Armatec. Our task is to build a robust and future-proof logistics solution that strengthens their customers' experience and contributes to sustainable growth, says Johan Appelkvist, Business Development Manager at Speed.

The agreement covers logistics and transport management. The project will begin in the fall of 2025 with a planned start of operations in December.
