PRESS RELEASE: Speed Group's growth is in the logistics sector, and in order to streamline the business, the company is now choosing to divest the personnel solutions business to the staffing company NearYou. The deal means that Speed will focus fully on logistics and transportation solutions in the future.

- Our own staffing business is an important part of our origins, but the benefits have diminished as the conditions for staffing companies have changed. Moreover, increasing the level of automation in our logistics operations means that we can handle volume fluctuations much more easily than before. The most important thing for us in this process has been to find someone who can take care of our customers and employees in the absolute best way - both in the short and long term - and in NearYou we have really found an actor who has the prerequisites to do so, says Hans Sahlin, CEO of Speed.

The part that is being divested includes staffing, recruitment, and training. NearYou already runs similar operations and sees the acquisition as a complement and a reinforcement.

- Speed has made an impressive journey and has, for many years, been a leader in personnel solutions. It is a fine company we are now taking over and integrating with our other operations. We look forward to welcoming both customers and employees, says Magnus Fridebo, CEO of NearYou.

The business will be fully integrated into NearYou's existing structure, including the takeover of customers and staff, and run as part of the regular business. The deal is conditional on approval from the competition authority, and the takeover is therefore expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
