In the idyllic district of Haga in central Gothenburg you’ll find Twist & Tango. The company’s clothes and shoes are designed and developed here — but the products themselves never pass through the head office. Instead, they arrive at the logistics hub in Arendal, right by the harbour on Hisingen in western Gothenburg. At Speed’s facility, incoming goods are received, checked and scanned into their correct warehouse locations. When products are sent out to retailers or directly to consumers through e‑commerce, they are picked, packed and shipped by Speed.

- We have always outsourced our logistics. It’s the best solution for us both practically and economically. Previously we worked with a smaller provider who unfortunately struggled to handle the increased pressure when we digitised our business and started to grow. Sustainability is a core part of Twist & Tango’s identity, not only in their use of sustainable and environmentally friendly materials, but also in decisions around storage and logistics.

     - We always try to choose the most environmentally friendly option in every situation. That applies to everything we do  - including our warehousing solution. It’s crucial that the warehouse is located in a way that minimises unnecessary transport. Previously, our warehouse was far from the port where our goods arrive. Being right next to the port now is a huge advantage and has significantly reduced our transport, which is fantastic. We save time and money — but above all, the environment!

Close dialog is key

The warehouse isn’t just close to the port - it’s also close to Twist & Tango’s head office.

    - Having Speed nearby is great for us. We even sit and work in their facility sometimes. That personal relationship is something we truly value. We have a fantastic dialogue with Speed, and they are very responsive to our needs. They are like an extension of our own business.
