Speed builds new logistics facility in Gothenburg.

PRESS RELEASE: Speed Group is investing in and building a new state-of-the-art logistics facility in Gothenburg. The 30,000 m² facility in Sörred Logistics Park replaces the existing site in Arendal and creates the conditions for continued growth and world-class logistics solutions.
To meet the growing needs of customers and create even better conditions for the future, Speed is investing in a new logistics facility in Gothenburg. The new facility is being built in Sörred Logistics Park and will replace the current site in Arendal. Speed has been climate-neutral since 2023, and sustainability is a top priority. The building, which will be certified BREEAM-SE Excellent, will be built with CO2-reduced concrete, a recycled steel frame, and equipped with a 500 kW solar cell system.

The new facility will give us a more efficient flow, better capacity, and even higher quality in our deliveries - quite simply, we can offer world-class logistics! Construction will begin in 2025, and occupancy is planned for the first quarter of 2026. The new facility will have an area of 30,000 m² and will be built with high demands on sustainability and energy efficiency. The investment in Gothenburg is made in parallel with Speed's new establishment in Falkenberg, where another logistics facility is currently being built to meet increasing demand.
